Visits & Tours
All visits and tours are by appointment only. Due to the nature of our working farm operation, as well as our event schedule, please make an appointment prior to your visit. We do not share the ranch with anyone while we have wedding weekend guests checked in, out of respect for their privacy and time here. Flip Flop Ranch is a private property and we ask that you be respectful of the property and our guests.
Absolutely no smoking is permitted in our homes or buildings. As our guest, it is your responsibility to inform your visisting guests of this policy. Designated smoking areas must be agreed upon with Flip Flop Ranch management and designated with signage in outdoor areas only. No smoking will be permitted outside of these areas, doing so will jeopordize the return of any security deposit collected.
Catering, Planners & Vendors
We will provide you with a list of preferred and approved wedding vendors to assist with your plans.
In an effort to provide an excellent wedding experience for our guests, we require a full-service caterer be secured for your wedding. Your caterer must be selected from our approved list of vendors that have been vetted extensively to ensure that your day runs smoothly, that excellent service is provided as well as wonderful menu selections. The vendors on our list vary both in specialized offerings as well as budget. We feel confident that our caterers will take very good care of you.
An Event Planner or Coordinator is mandatory for this property. The ranch is vast, and there are multiple venues on the property utilized by our couples. This property requires a great deal from a coordinator or planner. A friend of the bride or family, a “month of” coordinator – does not meet our criteria for a professional planner at this property. We want you to have the best experience possible, therefore, we strognly recommend a full-service coordinator or planner that can begin the planning process with you. All coordinators must have a signed Coordinator Agreement with required insurance on file in advance of the event and meet the requirements that Greengate Ranch & Vendors have. If you need assistance selecting a vendor suitable, please refer to our Preferred Vendor List or communicate with us directly, we are here to be your resource. Please check with our staff to make sure that your coordinator of choice can be approved to work at the ranch. Per your agreement with us, we reserve the right to refuse vendors, given less than positive experiences.
Outside vendors are welcome to work at the ranch upon approval of management except for the caterer.
All vendors must provide proof of insurance, including Flip Flop Ranch, LLC as additionally insured prior to the event, for the event date.
Flip Flop Ranch is governed under the San Bernardino County Sound Ordinance which states that all amplified music must end at 10 pm. This pertains to Live music, bands and DJ’s. The ordinance applies to our event space as well as the home on the property.
Pets & Children
Pets are not allowed in the guest home or on the property.
Children must be accompanied at all times.
Confetti, Candles & Sparklers
No confetti, open flame candles or sparklers are permitted on this property. Any violation of this policy will result in a charge.
No open flame candles are allowed, all candles must be battery powered.
Absolutely no overnight lodging (RV’s or camping) is permitted on the property, outside of the accommodations on the property. We have no RV hook-ups and want to ensure that ALL guests have a great experience here at Flip Flop Ranch. We are happy to make a recommendation for guests needing RV accommodations.
Vehicles left in parking overnight will be towed at the owner’s expense if not retrieved within 48 hours of event.
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, all alcohol must be served by a licensed caterer, bartender or bar tending service. If you are selling alcohol, an ABC license must be obtained and presented to us.
Flip Flop Ranch has tables available to you for your event, however these items are for use in the event area only (Barn area). If your event is held at another of our locations on site, use of outside rental items may be necessary.
Rehearsal Dinners & After Parties
Our hope is that you have a wonderful time here at the ranch spent making memories with family and close friends. Though we welcome rehearsal dinners and after parties at the Farm House, they are limited to 50 people. If your party is beyond 50 guests, we do require that you have a coordinator involved and on the premisis for this event.
Flip Flop Ranch is within the county of San Bernardino and is thus governed by the Sound Ordinance as every other venue is. Because ampliphied sound must cease at 10 pm, the formal part of your day will come to an end and we welcome you to invite your nearest and dearest to an after party at the Farm House. Only catch… You can’t take your DJ with you.
